Probably the worst lying field reporter is one who shouldn't even be allowed to report the colour of the sky. No matter what coulour she says, you have to stick your head out the window to see for yourself. Besides the fact that she is so unprofessional that she yells into the microphone EVERY TIME she talks live on air, she shows no shame to give the news viewers a outright lie. We will give you 2 instances (out of many-many lies) that will give you an idea as to the low class of this person and so-called reporter. Example one: The first week of the Iraq war, the Minister of (Dis)information, otherwise known as "Baghdad Bob" for his outrageous tales of Iraqi victories, claimed to the world that the Coalition had killed 3 civilians in the first week of the war. The ENTIRE world saw him say this live on all the international channels. Five minutes later, Mrs. Kalogeropoulou came out of the SAME press conference in Baghdad and said LIVE on Alpha News that the "US" has killed 250 civilians in the first week. Did she not know that there ARE people in Greece who watch international news channels and speak English or is she just stupid? Example 2: On the one year anniversary of the Iraqi war, she returned to Baghdad. For the closing of 1 year, an independent Iraqi newspaper in cooperation with the (anti-war) BBC released a poll that showed that 81% of Iraqis (with no ties to Saddam) felt better off because of the war. Four days after the ENTIRE world heard about this poll, Mrs. Kalogeropoulou came on Alpha news and said, without shame: "NO ONE says they are better off now than they were before the war." No one means ZERO, NONE. A FAR CRY FROM THE TRUTH of 81%!!! Eighty one percent of 26 million people is almost 17 million people. A far cry from "ZERO." Of course, EVERYTHING Mrs. Kalogeropoulou says is far from the truth. HOW DID THIS LIAR GET A JOB ON TV?!
